"She Mixes the Lilt of Stevie Nicks With The Power of Sheryl Crow." “Have Heart Living Young” is a chiming, Charming Hookfest” Austin based singer-songwriter Brittany Shane recently completed an 80 date tour of the U.S. with her band to promote her new album, "Have Heart Live Young" (Painted Lady Records). Shane has shared the stage with such artists as Heart, Peter Frampton and Foreigner and her music is featured in the award winning independent film, "The Village Barbershop" (www.thevillagebarbershop.com) which is currently playing on Showtime and available on Netflix. The Wisconsin-born and raised songstress has been on a spell of writing and playing over the past decade or so, and the fruits of her labor are obviously starting to pay off. Brittany’s sonic offspring, having won the good graces of a laundry list of top notch music makers, including Grammy-nominated mix engineer, Joe Chiccarelli, producer Zack Smith (founding member of the ‘80s group Scandal), Shane offers the sort of timeless songwriting on par with Brit cult group the Sundays, the Bangles, Beth Orton or Mazzy Star.
